Art of Highschool
I have given away much of my art, but some I love too much to let go to someone besides my dad.
Alexandra Field

As a young artist, I enjoy experimenting. I began creating art in the 7th grade and it has blossomed ever since them. My influences stem from what I see not only on the Internet and magazines, but mostly from what I see my fellow artists working on in the classroom. I like balanced and symmetrical art, which is why I prefer to throw all my pieces; they end up more perfect this way. Ceramics is the best way I have of expressing my perfectionist self; I do not like drawing, painting, music or most other forms of art. When I throw, I do not usually plan; I let the piece develop organically at its own will and pace. I do not feel like my hobbies, such as lacrosse influence my work; I make practical and simplistic things that do more than just sit on a shelf for display.
